Surely a Freudian slip, in referring to the fallen-from-hardly-any-grace Nicola Gobbo? COMMENT: You haven’t reported that the old guard being the previous bar council who were the true conservatives and reactionaries were slaughtered in the election. That is a demonstration of the unpopularity of a bar council shrouded in secrecy and failing to communicate with the members of the bar in any way shape or form.

Your report is pathetically biased and in accurate. Why do you except what was published in the financial review based on information given to it by the previous Bar council.

There must be something wrong with the Bar council when huge numbers vote against it as was the case. Why don’t you get off your arse and find outThe truth and the facts of what was happening at the Victorian Bar which led to the bar council being slaughtered at an election.

While I am on the subject I should point out no bar in the common-law world has a facility such as the Essoign Club
Which is regularly patronised by large numbers of female members of the bar.

If you want to know the truth my number is 0411 231 836
