Some 113 of NSW’s finest briefs have applied for silk in the 2015 anointment round.
Eleven, or less than 10 percent, of the contenders are women, one of the lowest numbers in that category we’ve seen for years. Four of the female applicants are prosecutors.
Last year there were 102 NSW applicants, including 16 women (15.7 percent, up on the previous year’s 13 percent).
